HYPER (kilowatt / hope / thrive, UK)
At 27, Guy Hatfield is a man with a mission. Heralded as the new Breakbeat leader of the pack and the hardest workingman in the UK dance scene, he continues to turn heads and push boundaries to great acclaim. Hyper’s pioneering Y3K compilation albums secured his name in the dance scene as one to watch and spawned many copycat Breakbeat albums. Guy went on to surpass expectations with his world-renowned Bedrock Breaks CD’s and can lay claim to the biggest selling full price Breakbeat comps to date. He is one of BT's favs.
He regularly is asked to guest mix on BBC Radio 1 for DJ’s Annie Nightingale, Seb Fontaine and Fergie. He is a popular and frequent guest at the US’ largest clubs Spundae and Buzz. All this activity and profile lead to Hyper being chosen as the support DJ for Breakbeats biggest band, The Crystal Method on tour in the USA in spring ‘04. Recent releases on Timo Maas’ label 4:20 Recordings have proven a successful teaser of what's to come.He has built on the notoriety of his mix (now a Breakbeat anthem) of 2001's biggest track 'Addicted To Bass'. Hyper’s popular remix of Terminalhead was also chosen for a Radio 1 TV ad campaign. Recently Guy has also collaborated with some of his favourite producers General Midi & Uberzone! Also this year Hyper has remixed Sugababes, Paul Van Dyk, Sarah McLauchlane, The Crystal Method and BT. Hyper also runs his own successful breaks label Kilowatt. Hyper is one of THE best technical DJ’s in Breakbeat, expect much more from him and expect your expectations to be surpassed! 12:00-1:00AM

BOBCAT (Overdub Recordings, MA) 4:00-5:00PM
Bob Caputo was first introduced to house music and its culture in 1995 while
going to school at Umass Amherst. Before long Bob was throwing some of the most revolutionary
underground house parties western mass had ever seen. With the full support
of the areas top dj collectives, like the greenhouse effect, these
gatherings became showcases for upcoming local dj’s as well as established
international veterans. His first sets at Club Metro in Northampton were an
early indication that this guy had every intention on making the crowd go
nuts with a stomping style of house music. He
was playing all types of events from raves to art gallery openings at “The
Fridge” in Amherst. In late 1998, bobcat’s first mix tape “ignition” was
released. Bobcat was approached and asked to become a resident at the largest and only
all night underground club in New England “Club Kaos” in Springfield.
Bobcat, along with other residents Hush, Bon Bons, and Groove Creator from
Growroom records, were able to kick off one of the most anticipated club
events the state has ever seen. Now
spending most of his time in his home studio working with dj legz, bobcat
has completed a few tracks such as “peep show” and “revival” for his label OverDub His
latest mix cd “3's a crowd” was released in the winter of 2005 and is
another example of his pursuit for slamming, indefinable house music.
